IMPORTANT NOTICE:

1. We do not have a 24 hour reception; but we stay open for those with confirmed bookings.

2. For those intending to check-in before 2 pm, please arrive only after 10 am to deposit your luggage. Early occupation of the room before 2 pm is STRICTLY SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

3. If your arrival time is after midnight, please book for the date before.
Example: If your arrival time at hostel is 2 am on 28 Sep, you must book for 27 Sep AND NOT for 28 Sep.

4. The single, twin/double, triple and quad private rooms are strictly for 1, 2, 3 and 4 persons' occupancy per room respectively - extra person will be charged accordingly.

5. Minimum age requirement is 18 for all our guests. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED.

Bugis Backpackers is a new hostel located in the heart of Bugis Village in central Singapore, a bustling hub of Straits-Chinese shop-houses delightfully restored to reflect its old-world charm. Immerse in the vibrancy and festive atmosphere of the Bugis Street 'pasar malam' (street bazaar) as you throng through the stalls selling clothing, souvenirs, local delicacies, fruits and more.

Take a step out of the hostel and Arab Street and Little India await you with exotic curios.

Truly the most convenient hostel in Singapore, it is only a 2-min walk (50 metres) from Bugis MRT Station. Some of the nearby facilities and attractions within walking distance from the hostel:

* Sentosa beach resort - 5 train stops from the hostel, takes about 15 minutes

* World-famous IT & Electronics shopping mall in 6-storey building, SIM LIM SQUARE - 400 metres

* Kampong Glam, conserved historical Malay/Arab District - 300 metres

* Singapore Art Museum - 600 metres

* Merlion Park, Esplanade Theaters on the Bay - 0.93 km or take bus 133 or 960, bus-stop 120 metres from hostel

* Lavender Street Bus Terminal (Melaka, Mersing, Kuala Lumpur) - Take Bus 133 or 61, bus-stop 50 metres from hostel

* Singapore Railway Station - Take Bus 80, stops 50 metres from hostel

* Golden Mile Complex (long distance buses to Malaysia & Thailand) - 0.94 km

* Suntec City Convention & Exhibition Halls and shopping centre - 640 metres or take bus 133, bus-stop 120 metres from the hostel

* CHIJMES (pubs & restaurants in a conserved convent) - less than 5 min walk

* Raffles Place, Central Business District - 2 train stops away

* Singapore Cruise Centre (ferries to Pulau Batam, Indonesia) - 5 train stops from Bugis MRT Station, takes about 15 minutes

I love the simple, cheery, colourful layout of the hostel, especially the bedsheets you chose in the dorm room, and the colours of the spiral staircase at the back.
