Tai Hoe Hotel

A pre-war house built the early 1940`s, Tao Hoe was originally a two storey 12 room hotel taht caters to Chinese businessman and the occasional sailors. During the 2nd World War, the Japanese changed the name of hotel to the currrent TAI HOE, which means " The Great Peace". In February 1994, the management decided to rebuild the hotel to cater to the increasing demand for budget accomodation. The new 6 storey Tai Hoe re opened in November 1995 with a total of 70 rooms. Tai Hoe boasts modern facilities like airconditioning. direct IDD calls and even internet access.
